This was one of those businesses I blindly took a chance on since they were local. I desperately needed a new garage door and opener. When I called, I spoke to someone immediately and was able to schedule someone to come out the next day. The technician (I believe his name was Anton) was able to work with me to decide on everything i needed. He was great to work with, very professional. The price was reasonable. A single mid range priced door with a top of the line opener installed ran a little more that $4000. We ordered everything right then and there. I was quoted about 8 weeks to get the parts and get it installed but I ended up getting it in about 6. The installation was a breeze. The same technician showed up about mid-morning and finished up around 5pm. The only thing I needed to do was clear out the garage enough for him to work since the door needs to be assembled inside the garage. The technician set up the opener and explained how everything worked. The door looked great and the opener does exactly what it needed to do. The technician hauled the old door away. All of the costs were clearly explained and nothing was hidden with maybe the exception of the optional keypad that ran around $100 additional. I wouldn’t say it was a hidden cost but rather a last minuted addition. Now that I’ve worked with them I would confidently recommend Severna Garage Door repair.

I recently had my garage door repaired by Chen, who works for Best Pro Services. What a nice experience. Chen (pronounced like Ken) was knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. He showed up on time and the repair went as planned. I would certainly recommend him and his company to anyone in need of garage door repairs.

I came home to find a contractor had closed my garage door manually and the automatic opener would no longer work. I called Anna at Severna Garage Door. She was gracious and kind, offering to set up an appointment quickly, but also listened to me and diagnosed my issue! She recommended I try to fix the emergency release before incurring the expense of a visit, and it worked! The company could have just sent someone for this 5 minute fix and made some $ but instead was gracious and kind and handled this for me without charge. I didn't know there were people or companies like this left in the world. Thank you Anna and Severna Garage Door for restoring my faith in humanity!
